Q: What do I wear?

A: Please prepare to bring golf attire for Friday and Saturday day of play. You will be given an Official First Tee Champions Challenge polo during Thursday’s Welcome Reception that you may wear on Sunday. Golf pants, shorts, and skorts/skirts are permitted.

Please also bring athletic/casual clothing for Friday and Saturday’s activities. Look to our Schedule of Events here for specific activity information.  

Q: What else should I bring with me for my trip to Naples?

A: A suggested packing list can be found on the home page of your Golf to PARaside Portal.​


Q: What is included in my Welcome Package?

A: Every First Tee Champions Challenge participant will receive a Welcome Package at registration Thursday, February 13. The package will include:

  • One (1) VIP Credential (Weekly Grounds Access, Access inside 18 Green Hospitality Suite as well as Lely Clubhouse)

  • One (1) Callaway First Tee Champions Challenge Polo

  • One (1) Official Tournament Hat

  • First Tee Champions Challenge Information Packet. The packet will include:

    • Important Onsite Contact Information

    • Hotel Information

    • Official Tournament Itinerary

    • Official Tournament Rules

** Tournament Manager, Carley Neal will send out an electronic Information Packet via email in January before the event.


Q: Will I receive a courtesy car?

A: Every chapter will receive a courtesy car upon arrival to the hotel. The hotel concierge will hand you the keys as you check-in. If you are not staying at the hotel, we can arrange for you to pick up your car. Tournament Manager, Carley Neal will reach out to each chapter to confirm courtesy car pick-up.


Q: Where do I park?

A: Each courtesy car will have a parking pass displayed inside. Please check the First Tee Champions Challenge Portal or your email for updated parking information in the near future from your Chapter Coach or Tournament Manager, Carley Neal.


Q: Where can I eat?

A: Meals will be provided for participant during every special event throughout the weekend. For all other meals, all participants may eat in Player Dining inside Lely Clubhouse. Meal hours for Lely Clubhouse are as follows:

  • Breakfast 6:00am – 10:00am

  • Lunch 11:00am – 3:00pm

We also encourage you to explore the SW Florida area and try some delicious local eateries. Below are just a few of our favorites:

Q: Where can I find the Player Dining Room at the Chubb Classic?

A: Player Dining is accessible through the main doors of The Classics Country Club at Lely Resort in the round-a-bout driveway. Please refer to your course map for more specific information on the location of Player Dining.


Q: Who do I contact about special dietary needs?

A: Please be sure to fill out the registration portal page and specify any dietary need. You may also contact Tournament Manager, Carley Neal ( ahead of time. We will do our best to accommodate any special needs.

Q: What can I do in Naples when I’m not golfing?
A: Naples and the surrounding areas are known for their beautiful beaches! We recommend spending some of your down time enjoying all that The Paradise Coast has to offer. 

Q: Where can I find a course map?

A: Please check back for a detailed course map.

Q: What if I want to attend the Taste of SW Florida food festival or any of the other events incorporated in the Chubb Classic?
A: Your VIP credential will get you access into the tournament, Taste of SW Florida, the clubhouse and anywhere on the tournament grounds. A full schedule of Chubb Classic events can be found on your Golf to PARaside portal!

Q: What are the Admissions gates’ hours of operation?
A: Admission gates are open Thursday through Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Admission gates are closed Monday through Wednesday.

Q: Which courses will I be playing and on which days? 
A: A detailed schedule outlining your trip can be found on your Golf to PARadise Portal.

Q: Are there ATMs onsite?
A: ATMs will be available onsite.

Q: What will the weather be like in Naples?
A: Typically, Naples temperatures average in the mid- to high-70's in February, with lows in the 50's. Make sure to bring a light jacket with you for the mornings and evenings!

Q: How will weather impact the Tournament? Should I still show up if its raining?

A: In the event of inclement weather, please check your phone for any messages from your Chapter Coach or from Octagon Staff onsite. Please do not presume play is cancelled if it rains. You may also check your email periodically for updated information and tee times.
